The Mitutoyo MDC-Lite Digimatic digital micrometer’s ratchet thimble mechanism provides a constant measuring force on the spindle to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements. The combination of the ratchet thimble and speeder enables a rapid spindle feed when measuring a wide range of different dimensions, or easier one-handed measurements.
- The MDC-Lite has no spindle clamp or data output function
- Provided only with a zero-set key and in/mm (inch/metric models only)
- Measurement results are displayed in inches and metric on an LCD display
- Carbide-tipped measuring tips resist wear for better accuracy over time
- Twice as long battery life than previous models improves throughput and efficiency
- Unit turns off after 20 minutes of idle time; conveniently turns on with twist of the spindle
