Disc Micrometer-Carbide Tip

The Mitutoyo disc micrometer uses flat discs constructed of hardened steel in our own Japanese facilities to measure lengths of spur and helical gears. The flatness and thinness of the discs allow for measurements in tight spaces with reliability. A ratchet-stop mechanism helps provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements and eliminates over-speed error. Measurements are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD readout.

• Diameter of measuring disc is .787” / 20mm
• Disc edge thickness is 0.7mm / .028” to enter narrow recesses; disc edge thickness on models over 100mm is 1mm
• Measuring surfaces are constructed of carbide to reduce wear
• IP65 protection enables use in environments exposed to cutting oil, coolant, dust, etc., for most shop floor environments
• Ratchet mechanism provides an audible click to ensure measurement is performed with constant force
• SPC output function allows for quick and easy data management in real time
• Functions include Origin Set, Zero/ABS Setting, Data Hold, Data Output, Function Lock, and inch/mm conversion (on inch/metric models only)
• Alarm: Low Voltage, Counting Value Composition Error
• Satin chrome finish on the sleeve and laser etched measurements on thimble for easier reading
• Frame has a non-slip finish for better grip in shop environments
