Indicating Micrometers

The Mitutoyo indicating micrometer has a smooth, highly precise mic head essential for placing workpieces in rough position, and a dial indicator for fast, accurate deviation readings from a master. A retractable spindle trigger has a balanced spring and operates easily with a button on the anvil side of the frame. The retractable anvil allows for faster workpiece throughput without sacrificing accuracy. The micrometer’s ratchet-stop mechanism delivers uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements. A Vernier scale with slanted barrel markings reduces parallax errors and provides highly accurate outside dimension measurements.
