The Mitutoyo pana micrometer delivers great versatility to measure outside diameters of many different types of workpieces by interchanging anvils. The non-rotating spindle reduces torsion on softer parts being measured to prevent workpiece deformation and wear and offers steady positioning during measurement. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements.

- V-Anvils and conical spindle tips (matching pair) for screw thread measurement are also available
- Non-rotating spindle with optional seven interchangeable anvils (flat, spline, spherical, point, knife-edge, disk, and blade) for a wide range of applications
- Measuring surfaces are constructed of carbide for exceptional flatness and lasting durability
- Ratchet mechanism provides an audible click to ensure measurement performs at a constant force
- Knurled friction thimbles provides quick adjustments even when wearing gloves
- Satin chrome finish on the sleeve and laser etched measurements on thimble for easier reading
