The Mitutoyo wire thickness micrometer features high-grade hardened steel on its frame, spindle and anvil to deliver precise, repeatable wire thickness and small ball diameters. The micrometer’s ratchet-stop mechanism delivers uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements. An inch Vernier scale provides outside diameter measurements.

- A measuring range of 0-10mm with 0.10mm graduation and +/- 0.003mm accuracy provides exceptionally precise and accurate measurements
- Measuring surfaces on the anvil and spindle are constructed of carbide to reduce wear
- Ratchet mechanism provides an audible click to ensure measurement is performed at a constant force
- Satin chrome finish on the sleeve and laser etched measurements on thimble for easier reading
