Digimatic Micrometer Heads

The Mitutoyo Digimatic digital micrometer head is manufactured with the same precision and durability as our trusted micrometers in our own Japanese factory. The frame and spindles on Mitutoyo’s micrometer heads are constructed of special hardened steel that minimizes flex and fluctuations due to temperatures for better, repeatable accuracy. The ratchet thimble provides a constant measuring force on the spindle to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements.

• Models available with non-rotating spindle tip to eliminate radial torsion on the workpiece.
• Available in Metric and Metric/Inch models
• Spindle diameter is 6.35mm /.25”
• Mic head total length (at stroke end) is 181.5mm / 7.15”
• Ratchet mechanism provides an audible click to ensure measurement is performed constant force
• SPC output function allows for quick and easy data management in real time
