The differential screw mechanism in this Mitutoyo micrometer head provides extra-fine feeding of the spindle for highly accurate adjustments and measurements. Its non-rotating spindle eliminates torque for added precision. The spindle has a flat measuring face constructed of carbide and is lapped for lasting precision.
- Available in Metric and Inch models
- Mic head has a 21mm / .827” thimble diameter
- Metric spindle ranges available are 1mm, 2.5mm, and 13mm
- Inch spindle ranges available are .02”, .05”, and .5”
- Spindle diameters are 6.35mm / .25” and 8mm / .315”
- Mic head total lengths (at stroke end) are 7mm / 5.22”, 110.2mm / 4.34”, and 110.5mm / 4.35”
- Spindle faces are constructed of carbide and have lapped surfaces for more accurate measurements over time and are available in flat or spherical
- Thimble is hard-chrome plated with laser-etched scales for easy-to-read measurements
