Features & Benefits

The Mitutoyo Quick Vision Hyper UMAP features an ultrasonic micro probe that senses the amplitude variation while probing. The extremely small stylus, with high aspect ratios, makes dimensional measurements of microscopic forms possible, and can measure form deviations of features too small for traditional probe technology.

  • Camera and UMAP probe provide high-accuracy contact and non-contact measurements in one machine
  • Several diameters of micro-stylus are available from 15 µm to 300μm diameter
  • Programmable turreted zoom changes the magnification multiplier from 1X to 6X
  • A Programmable Ring Light (PRL) allows for fine control and direction for optimal measurement illumination to enhance the edge of inclined surfaces and very small steps
  • Main frame structure has a fixed-bridge construction achieving high-accuracy measurements
  • Standard temperature compensation offers higher accuracy in measurements
  • The accuracy of this model conforms to ISO10360-7:2011 (specifications on request)
